AE 1.1.0 Known Issues
Known issues in regard to AE 1.1.0:
- File Download to temporary folder does not function correctly:
This is due to a bug in code provided by Microsoft and has nothing to do with MAP IT or Ayurveda Explorer.
The MAP IT team is working on a patch that will rectify the problem.
To save files in AE, you must right-click the download link and select "Save Target As . . ." - AE does not appear to start, or starts after a very long time:
This is due to the real-time anti-spyware cookies definitions being downloaded to your computer.
Every time you start AE, it will download a definitions file to your computer, ensuring you are notified of suspicous cookies.
If your internet connection is slow, 56 kbps or slower, you may experiance a delay as the file is downloaded to your computer.
MAP IT will be releasing a version of AE with the option to turn off this feature, and you will be notified in the notification window when the feature is ready for you to download. Please be patient.
If you encounter an error while using AE 1.1.0 Beta, please tell us about it.
The MAP IT team will then rectify the problem and notify you when a patch is available to download. This can be done using Help > Send Feedback in AE, or using the MAP IT suggestion/comment form →
† AE Setup may not work on all previous versions of Windows.
Windows XP with Service Pack 2 is highly recommended.
‡ Cookies generally do not do any damage to your system, therefore removing them is unnecessary.
